Rocket Racing Launch

As long-term collaborators with Epic Games, we were excited to take on the challenge of launching Rocket Racing, Fortnite’s first-ever arcade racing experience.

This fast-paced, competitive racing game hit the Fortnite metaverse during a jam-packed December 2023, alongside several other key events. Our expertise and deep connection with both the Fortnite and Rocket League communities positioned us perfectly to drive awareness, excitement, and engagement for Rocket Racing’s debut.

Our mission was clear: introduce Rocket Racing to the world, building a new player base for Fortnite’s arcade racing genre while igniting excitement for its competitive gameplay.

With multiple major events taking place in Fortnite simultaneously, our challenge was to ensure Rocket Racing captured the spotlight and became a must-play experience. Working with creators across Rocket League, Fortnite, and variety gaming communities, we aimed to engage players and showcase the high-octane thrills Rocket Racing had to offer.

We executed a three-pronged approach, tapping into endemic Fortnite creators, Rocket League gamers, and variety gamers to deliver a mix of long-form and short-form content. Our creators produced immersive YouTube videos, giving deep dives into Rocket Racing’s mechanics, while short-form content on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts expanded reach.

Custom mailers and gameplay challenges encouraged creators to generate authentic excitement around the game, highlighting its unique mechanics like drifting and high-speed racing across Fortnite’s dynamic maps.

The campaign raced past expectations, driving millions of views and hundreds of thousands of engagements.

A standout performance came from Caylus, whose YouTube video ammassed 300,000 views, with his short-form content adding another 210,000 views. Additionally, 6 added-value content pieces pushed overall exposure even further, with fans embracing the high-speed thrills of Rocket Racing.

Creator feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the game’s fun mechanics and competitive edge, leaving both the Rocket League and Fortnite communities eager for more.
