Paris Olympics 2024: TikTok x The National Lottery & Samsung

In anticipation and celebration of the Paris 2024 Olympics, we launched an exciting campaign with The National Lottery and TikTok to celebrate Team GB and its athletes.

From the Team GB House in Paris to vibrant homecoming events in Manchester and Birmingham, we crafted dynamic experiences that showcased Olympians’ and Paralympians’ achievements. By partnering with key creators, we aimed to spark excitement and foster community spirit around sporting excellence, making this a memorable Olympic season for fans across the UK.

Our primary goal was to elevate awareness and excitement for the Paris 2024 Olympics, positioning TikTok and The National Lottery as champions of Team GB. We sought to celebrate the accomplishments of athletes while engaging diverse audiences throughout the UK. By inspiring viewers to connect with the Olympic journey, we aimed to drive participation, viewership, and support for Team GB leading up to, during, and after the Games.

Part 1: TikTok in the House Event

In partnership with TikTok & Team GB, we booked ten creators to experience the TikTok In The House event at Team GB House in Paris. The event featured inspiring talks from former Olympic athletes, alongside dynamic performances by Natasha Bedingfield and Cat Burns. Creators shared their journeys, from travel vlogs exploring the sights of Paris to live interactions with Olympians, capturing the vibrant atmosphere and excitement of the event.

Part 2: Team GB House & Homecoming Events

Next, we launched our campaign at Team GB House in Paris, with gymnast Ash Watson. Together, Ash and the athletes created dynamic challenge content, highlighting their sporting achievements and connecting them with UK audiences.

To build excitement for the homecoming celebrations for Team GB athletes and Paralympians returning from the Olympics, we invited select influencers out to Manchester and Birmingham. Our creators conducted red-carpet interviews with the Olympians and Paralympians, capturing their pride and joy during these special events. Each influencer produced engaging vlogs that showcased the festive atmosphere, featuring performances by top UK artists like Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne, all while highlighting The National Lottery’s (TNL) commitment to supporting sporting excellence.

Part 3: TikTok x Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6

As part of our activations, McCFit promoted the Galaxy Z Flip6, demonstrating its innovative features through engaging hands-on reviews. His content generated thousands of views and reinforced Samsung’s Olympic message of ‘Openness.’ McCFit created an engaging narrative that highlighted the excitement surrounding the device and the Olympics.

Our Olympic activations generated substantial engagement, reaching millions and fostering a sense of community among fans. The campaign successfully positioned TikTok and The National Lottery as vital players in the Olympic conversation.
