TikTok x EGX

For TikTok‘s first year as a headline sponsor of EGX, we partnered with 13 top UK gaming creators to build excitement and drive ticket sales for the event, held at the London Excel. Our objective was to help TikTok establish itself as a key player in the UK gaming convention scene by bringing attention to the event through creator-led content.

We curated a mix of creators, including gaming stars TommyInnit and Beky Amon, who together accounted for 55% of ticket sales. Creators were tasked with posting TikTok videos to generate buzz before and during the event, including personal discount codes to encourage ticket purchases.

The content captured the energy of the event, from gameplay to behind-the-scenes moments. Creators also headlined the EGX main stage, hosted meet-and-greets, and created post-event recap videos.

The campaign delivered a whopping 263 million views and was responsible for 73% of ticket sales driven through creator discount codes. The campaign effectively showcased TikTok’s ability to engage the gaming community and drive significant foot traffic to cultural events like EGX, laying a strong foundation for future sponsorships.
