Dude Perfect Dodgeball x GoPro

We teamed up with Dude Perfect and GoPro to bring the energy and excitement of extreme dodgeball into Fortnite. To mark the launch of Dude Perfect Dodgeball, we integrated GoPro into the Dude’s island through in-game branding, including logo placements, branded helmets, and custom dodgeballs.

The campaign aimed to merge the massive fanbases of Dude Perfect and Fortnite, delivering a high-octane, branded experience that resonated with gamers and content creators alike.

The goal of this campaign was to capitalize on Dude Perfect’s massive reach and popularity by leveraging a creator-led creator island in Fortnite, positioning GoPro as the central force in the energetic, high-adrenaline game.

The campaign sought to tap into the excitement of both Dude Perfect and Fortnite fans, amplifying GoPro’s presence in the gaming space while driving significant in-game engagement and awareness.

To bring this collaboration to life, we launched Dude Perfect Dodgeball within Fortnite with a custom-built island, designed to capture the spirit of Dude Perfect’s iconic trick shots and competitive challenges. GoPro branding was seamlessly woven into the experience with in-game helmets, dodgeballs, and logo placements on key structures like blimps and yacht, making the brand a central part of the game.

To promote the launch, we leaned heavily on YouTube content, where Dude Perfect hyped the game with a video that gave fans a sneak peek of the island. The campaign also featured in-game footage and streamer content, amplifying the excitement and showing off the gameplay to a wide audience.

The Dude Perfect Dodgeball launch was a massive success. GoPro’s integration saw remarkable engagement, with tens of millions of branded engagements in just one week.

Additionally, the launch earned extensive media coverage, reaching 172 million unique visitors across publications such as Forbes, Digiday, and Venture Beat. Fans loved the crossover, and streamers couldn’t get enough of the action, making this collaboration one of the most talked-about Fortnite experiences of the year.
